Norma A. Marrun is an Associate Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). A first-generation college graduate, she holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies with a focus on Latina/o Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University. Her work centers on critical race theory, multicultural education, and Chicana/Latina feminisms, with a focus on advancing equity in PK-20 education pipelines for students of color.
