Norbert Huber

Prof. Norbert Huber is a Professor of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer at the Department of Environmental Engineering, Weiden University of Applied Sciences (HSWT). He leads the Thermodynamics Laboratory and serves as contact person for the Master's program in Energy Management and Technology. His roles include overseeing practical semesters and international university contacts.

Research focuses on climate-neutral energy systems, renewable energy technologies, thermal energy storage, and sustainable mobility. He actively supervises theses on topics like thermal storage design, refrigeration system efficiency, and wind energy utilization. He is a member of VDI's Innovation Methodologies committee and the editorial board of Case Studies in Thermal Engineering.
