Nooshin Khobzi Rotondi is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ontario Tech University. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Western Ontario (2011) and a BSc (Honours) from the University of Toronto (2006). Her research focuses on health equity, particularly for marginalized populations, including substance use and mental health disparities. She specializes in community-based research, sampling hard-to-reach populations, and program evaluation.
Dr. Rotondi has led or contributed to grants addressing osteoporosis management, addiction treatment equity, and transgender health. Notable projects include CIHR-funded studies on fragility fracture interventions (2015–2017), addiction care performance evaluation (2013–2015), and transgender health social exclusion (2010–2013).
