Nolan Pope is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research focuses on education policy, labor economics, and public policy, particularly how teacher evaluation systems impact students and educators, and how immigration and criminal justice policies affect disadvantaged groups. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago (2017) and a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University (2011).
