Noemie Oxley is an Assistant Professor in Global Communications at The American University of Paris (AUP) and a researcher at the CRAL (Centre de Recherche sur les Arts et Language) at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. She has been teaching at AUP since 2015, focusing on visual culture, media theory, and war studies. Her research examines amateur videos in crisis contexts, particularly those documenting the Iraq War.
