Manuel Guevara

Manuel Guevara is a PhD student in Ethnology and Social Anthropology at the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences of Paris (EHESS), supervised by Daniel Fabre. He is affiliated with LAHIC/CNRS and serves as an accredited UNESCO observer since 2011. Additionally, he teaches the Political History of Latin America at Sciences Po Lille.

His research focuses on the emergence of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) within UNESCO's cultural policies, including legal frameworks of international instruments. He has authored publications and a book on ICH, and presented at symposia and congresses across France and Latin America. He has also contributed to interdisciplinary applications of ICH research.
