Emmanuelle Lallement is a Senior Lecturer in Ethnology at the University of Paris-Sorbonne's Celsa school. She is affiliated with the Groupe de recherche sur les processus d'information et de communication (GRIPIC) and the Institut interdisciplinaire d'anthropologie du contemporain (IIAC) at EHESS, as well as the Laboratoire d'anthropologie urbaine (LAU) at CNRS.
Research Interests: Her work examines urban environments, focusing on cities like Paris, with expertise in mercantile urbanism, secondary residences, sociability patterns, and intercultural dynamics within commercial spaces and public policies. She analyzes consumption practices, spatial design, and street-level economies.
