Noelia Rivera-Calderón (she/they) is a Teaching Professor of Law and Director of the Temple Law and Public Policy Program at Temple University's Beasley School of Law. Their career bridges education policy advocacy and legal practice, focused on civil rights for K-12 students, school discipline reform, and abolitionist mental health frameworks. Prior roles include middle school teaching in North Philadelphia, law school fellowships at the National Women’s Law Center, and staff attorney positions with Advancement Project.

Research interests emphasize dismantling punitive school systems through youth-led organizing. Publications include influential reports on Latina girls’ mental health and LGBTQ+ students of color advocacy. Awards include National Jurist Finalist and Temple’s 30 Under 30 recognition.
Volunteer/pro bono work includes national policy advocacy and curriculum development for marginalized youth. Current initiatives focus on liberatory education models and police-free schools through collaborations with youth organizing groups nationwide.
