Noel Thistle Tague serves as Assistant Professor Of English, Rhetoric and Technical Communication at the University of Maine at Augusta, within the College of Arts and Humanities. With a Ph.D. in Critical and Cultural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh (2018) and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Montana (2012), she brings interdisciplinary expertise to her teaching of public/professional writing, creative writing, digital media composition, and first-year writing courses.

Publications like Resonance Chambers and Industrial Nightmares (2019) demonstrate her expertise in analyzing how industrial projects rhetorically impact communities. She emphasizes writing as a tool for social change through civic engagement frameworks.
