Dr. Noel Dyck is Professor of Social Anthropology at Simon Fraser University, specializing in the anthropology of sport, childhood, movement, and urban life. His career explores the social construction of contemporary societies through ethnographic methods.
His research examines relationships between Aboriginal peoples and government policies, alongside analyses of youth sports cultures and mobility patterns. A former President of the Canadian Anthropology Society, he maintains active engagement in ethnographic research and student supervision.
