Noel C. March is a Lecturer of Justice Studies and Director of the Maine Community Policing Institute at the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA). He previously served as the U.S. Marshal for Maine (2010–2018) under President Barack Obama, overseeing federal court security, fugitive investigations, and witness protection. A decorated law enforcement veteran, he has held roles including Police Officer, Drug Unit Supervisor, and Chief Deputy Sheriff. He is a nationally recognized expert in Community Oriented Policing, former IACP Board member, and author of an award-winning online police training program.
