Nitish Chooramun

Dr Nitish Chooramun serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Digital Technologies within the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering at the University of East London. With extensive industry and academic experience, he teaches core computing modules across undergraduate and postgraduate programs while supervising numerous student projects and MPhil/PhD candidates.

His research centers on Intelligent Systems with specialized focus on Multi-Agent Systems for evacuation dynamics modeling, pedestrian behavior simulation, and Internet of Things applications. He develops algorithms for representing movement in complex environments, bridging theoretical AI with practical safety solutions.
