Ninna Meier is an Associate Professor in Organisational Sociology at Aalborg University's Department of Sociology and Social Work. She specialises in leadership, coordination, and organisational change in healthcare, focusing on qualitative methodologies like shadowing and document analysis. She collaborates with the Relational Coordination Research Collaborative at Brandeis University and co-founded the Open Writing Community for academic writing practices.
Education:
- PhD in Business Administration (Aarhus University), focusing on healthcare leadership and management
- Master’s in Management, Politics and Philosophy (Copenhagen Business School)
Research Interests: Her work explores healthcare leadership, integrative mechanisms in professional collaborations, and sensemaking processes. Current projects include a book on contextual analysis with Sue Dopson and studies on patient pathway coherence in Danish healthcare.
