Ning Wang is a Professor and Coordinator of Educational Research at Widener University. He holds a PhD in Educational Research Methodology from the University of Pittsburgh (1997), an MA from the same university (1994), an MS in Mathematics Education from Beijing Normal University (1987), and a BS in Mathematics (1984).
His research focuses on measurement instrument development and applications of research methodologies in educational practices. Notable projects include a $1.5M NSF grant as Co-PI (2010-2015) and leadership in developing the Widener Emotional Learning Survey. He has served as a psychometric consultant for national/international research projects.
Teaching responsibilities include graduate-level research methodology courses and doctoral dissertation supervision. Professional memberships include the American Educational Research Association, National Council on Measurement in Education, and Psychology in Mathematics Education.
Key honors include the Lindback Faculty Research Award (2007). His work bridges educational leadership, social-emotional learning, and curriculum evaluation through collaborative research and publication.
