Ninfa Contigiani is a permanent researcher in the History of Medieval and Modern Law (IUS/19) at the University of Macerata's Faculty of Law since May 2009. She holds academic positions in legal history and teaches courses such as History of Criminal Law, Contemporary Political and Institutional Phenomena, and Social Legislation. Her research focuses on Papal criminal legislation, bloodline citizenship, and the legal construction of family and citizenship in post-Unification Italy.
