Nina Schwarzbach is a PhD student and Lecturer in the Department of Clinical & Developmental Neuropsychology at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. Her work bridges clinical psychology research and practice, focusing on methodology, science-to-practice gaps, and open science initiatives. She holds an MSc and is supervised by Dr. Rink Hoekstra and Prof. Marieke Pijnenborg.
Research Interests include:
- Methodological critiques of RCTs in education
- Barriers to translating psychological research into clinical practice
- Consequences of open science policies on academic behavior
Her publications analyze epistemic challenges in education research, therapeutic practice gaps, and computational models of academic reputation dynamics. Media engagements highlight barriers to applying psychological research in real-world settings.
