Nina Scholtz serves as Director for Research & Instruction and Adjunct Professor of Law at Cornell Law School, Cornell University, located at 353 Myron Taylor Hall in Ithaca, NY.
Her educational background includes a J.D. and B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a clerkship with the Honorable Lawrence T. Lydick of the U.S. District Court. After fourteen years of civil litigation and appeals practice in Los Angeles, she earned an M.L.I.S. from UCLA in 2011.
Scholtz specializes in legal research methodologies with concentrated expertise in administrative law, civil litigation, and appellate procedures. Her teaching portfolio includes Administrative Law Research and Practice-Focused Research for LL.M. Students, alongside foundational legal research instruction for J.D. and LL.M. cohorts.
In her administrative role, she oversees the Law Library's comprehensive research and instruction programs, shaping pedagogical frameworks for legal research at Cornell. Her prior teaching experience at USC Gould School of Law further solidifies her contribution to legal education infrastructure.
