Rebecca Scholtz

Rebecca Scholtz is a Faculty Fellow at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she focuses on immigration law through the Legal Services Clinic. She is also a Senior Staff Attorney with the National Immigration Project. Her work emphasizes representation of unaccompanied children, pro bono program development, and advocacy on children’s immigration issues. Prior to her current role, she worked with the Catholic Legal Immigration Network’s Vulnerable Populations Program and Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid’s Immigration Law Project. Scholtz holds a JD from Yale Law School and a BA from Middlebury College. She previously served as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Minnesota Law School’s Federal Immigration Litigation Clinic (2015–2017).

Research & Advocacy Focus: Scholtz’s work centers on immigration law, with a specialization in protecting unaccompanied minors and advancing systemic advocacy.
