Nina Bannett

Nina Bannett is a Professor of English at New York City College of Technology, City University of New York (CUNY), where she has taught since 2009, previously serving as Department Chair until 2019. She specializes in 19th and 20th-century American literature, with a focus on American women writers, Law and Literature, and Feminist Theory.

Her creative writing focuses on mental illness themes through poetry collections like Lithium Witness (2011) and These Acts of Water (2015).
