Dr. Niloofar Parsaeifard is an Associate Professor of Instruction at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Texas at Arlington. Her academic roles include teaching courses in construction finance, materials, dynamics, and architectural engineering. She earned her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from UTA in 2019, following a Master's from Tarbiat Modares University (2007) and a Bachelor's from the University of Urmia (2002).
Her research focuses on environmental engineering, waste management, and structural dynamics, with notable work on methane emissions in landfills and seismic resilience of steel structures. Awards include the 2024 COE NTT Award for Innovative Teaching and the 2019 John L. Mancini Scholarship Fund.
Service contributions include roles in curriculum committees, ABET accreditation, and faculty recruitment. She has advised on PhD committees and contributed to departmental governance.
