Nikolay Karmanovsky

Nikolay Karmanovsky is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Secure Information Technologies of ITMO University. He has spent his entire career at the university since graduating in 1974, progressing from an assistant to his current role. He earned a PhD in Engineering from ITMO University in 1982.

• Research Interests: Microelectronics, Optoelectronics, Integrated Microcircuits Design, and Information Security.
• Teaching: Digital Computational Tools, Fundamentals of Radio Engineering, and Organizational Information Security.
• Editorial Role: Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Scientific and Technical Journal of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics since 2008.
• Awards: Honorary Worker of Higher Education in Russia.
