Nikolaos Veraros

Nikolaos Veraros is a Lecturer at King’s College London (part-time) and a Teaching Fellow at The American College of Greece (ACG). He holds a BBA from Athens University of Economics and Business and an MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon Business School. With over 20 years of experience in shipping finance, he currently serves as a financial consultant to shipping companies and is a partner at Investments & Finance Ltd. Previously, he worked as a senior equity analyst at National Securities, S.A., and served as an independent director on the board of Navios Maritime Acquisitions (NNA) until January 2020.

His research focuses on shipping finance, financial economics, and policy modeling. His work has been published in journals such as Applied Economics, Journal of Policy Modeling, and the Economic Bulletin of Bank of Greece. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Certified Market Maker for Derivatives in the Athens Stock Exchange, and a Certified Analyst from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.
