Nikolaos Papazarkadas

Nikolaos Papazarkadas is the Nicholas C. Petris Professor of Greek Studies and Professor of Ancient Greek & Roman Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He also serves as the Director of the Aleshire Center for the Study of Greek Epigraphy. His office hours are held on Mondays from 12-2 PM, with virtual meetings available via Zoom upon request.

His primary research focuses on Greek history and epigraphy, with regional expertise in Athens, Attica, Boeotia, the Cyclades, and the Peloponnese. Additional research domains include Athenian archaeology, topography, and the history of classical scholarship.
