Niklas Eder is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Digital Policy at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies, Oxford Law School, and a Visiting Lecturer at King's College London. He co-founded User Rights and previously held roles at the Oversight Board, Yale Law School's Information Society Project, and Columbia University as a Visiting Scholar.

His publications examine intersections of law, AI, and societal governance, including works on machine learning-based content moderation and digital policy frameworks. He contributes to both academic and popular outlets like the Stanford Technology Law Review and Tech Policy Press.
