Dr. Nikki Kuiper is a Senior Daphne Jackson Fellow sponsored by Orthopaedic Research UK and MRC at Keele University. Her research focuses on musculoskeletal health, particularly cartilage biology and osteoarthritis. Current work analyzes health data to develop algorithms predicting knee cartilage repair outcomes.
Previously Senior Lecturer at Keele Medical School (2003-2018), she has investigated cartilage healing mechanisms and regenerative strategies for damaged joints. Her expertise includes glycosaminoglycan profiling and extracellular matrix analysis.
Research funding sources include charity, industry, and Research Councils UK. Technical skills include SQL, R programming, and big data analytics for orthopaedic research.
