Nicoletta Nicolaou is an Associate Professor and Director of the PhD programme at the University of Nicosia Medical School. She holds a BSc (Hons.) in Cybernetics & Control Engineering and a PhD in Cybernetics from the University of Reading, UK, as well as an MSc in Criminology from the University of Nicosia. A former Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Imperial College London (2014–16), her research focuses on nervous system interactions, biomedical signal processing, and machine learning applied to neuroscience. Key areas include anaesthetic-induced consciousness, neurodegeneration, autism, and neurocriminology.
