Nicole Sutton

Associate Professor Nicole Sutton is a prominent academic at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), affiliated with the Accounting Discipline Group within the Business School. Her research focuses on management accounting systems, aged care sector sustainability, and policy impact, with a strong emphasis on translating academic insights into actionable policy and practice. She leads the UTS Aging Research Collaborative (UARC), co-chairing its Business & Strategy Theme, and co-authors the influential biannual Australia’s Aged Care Sector reports. Sutton has secured significant grant funding, including UTS Business School grants and industry partnerships like the UTS-StewartBrown collaboration.
