Nicole Rosen is a Professor and Department Head in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Manitoba, holding a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Language Interactions (2014-2023). She leads the Languages in the Prairies Project, investigating sociophonetic interactions of English, French, and Michif in the region, with a focus on minority and endangered languages. She serves as editor of the Canadian Journal of Linguistics.
