Nicole Landy

Nicole Landy is a Lecturer in the Practical Legal Training (PLT) Course at QUT Law School, specializing in Civil Litigation and Legal Skills education. She serves as Unit Coordinator for Civil Litigation and Career Skills, and Coordinator of Lawyers Skills (Written Communication). Her academic journey includes a PhD candidature in the Humans Technology Law Centre, focusing on law students' perceptions of GenAI tools for legal practice.

Education: Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland. Professional background includes over 10 years as a solicitor in civil litigation across private practice, government, and corporate roles prior to academia.

Research interests center on integrating Generative AI into legal education to prepare students for modern legal practice. Current projects explore assessment frameworks embedding GenAI and student perceptions of AI-assisted learning.
