Moira Murray is a Senior Lecturer in the UNSW PLT Program at UNSW School of Law, Society & Criminology. She joined UNSW in 2022 after a decade at ANU School of Legal Practice, where her teaching excellence was recognized via ANU College of Law awards and a Vice Chancellor's Commendation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning. Her work focuses on bridging undergraduate legal education to professional practice, emphasizing skill development and lifelong learning in law graduates.
With 20 years as a civil litigation and dispute resolution lawyer, Murray advises government agencies and individuals in federal and state courts. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Jurisprudence (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia (1989-1990).
Research interests center on fostering professionalism in legal education through innovative methods like online platforms. Her publications explore how pre-practice training shapes professional identity and ethical practice.
