Nicole Graham is a Professor of Law at the University of Sydney, specializing in property law, environmental law, and legal education. She serves as Associate Dean of Education at Sydney Law School and Co-Chair of the Legal Education Associate Deans (LEAD). Her research focuses on the intersections of property rights, climate change, and legal pedagogy. Graham holds a PhD from the University of Sydney and has authored influential works like Lawscape: Property, Environment, Law (2011) and co-edited The Routledge Handbook of Property, Law and Society (2023).
She leads initiatives to integrate climate change into legal education curricula and has pioneered projects such as Ngura and the Foundations of Laws, embedding Indigenous perspectives into law programs. Graham’s current grants include projects on mainstreaming climate considerations in law education and student perspectives on climate anxiety. She is affiliated with institutions like the Sydney Environment Institute and the Australian Centre for Climate and Environmental Law.
