Nicolasa Kuster is a Professor of Bassoon and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music in Stockton, CA. She has held this position since 2008, combining teaching with administrative leadership. She is Principal Bassoonist of the Stockton Symphony and New Hampshire Music Festival Orchestras, and has performed with ensembles such as the San Diego Symphony and Sacramento Philharmonic. Kuster launched the Meg Quigley Vivaldi Competition, a biennial event for young women bassoonists, awarding over $30,000 in prizes.

- Performance Career: Extensive orchestral, chamber, and solo engagements across the Americas and Europe, including recordings with the Spoleto Festival Orchestra.
