Nicolas Leron is a political scientist and Associate Researcher at the Center for Political Research (CEVIPOF) and OFCE (Sciences Po). His work focuses on European integration, European democracy, and judicial cooperation across Europe. He leads the seminar on the Theory and Political Economy of Europe and has authored significant publications on EU governance and national sovereignty.
His recent research explores tensions between supranational democratic frameworks and traditional national sovereignty, particularly in the context of economic growth and judicial dialogue mechanisms.
Leron holds a PhD in Political Science from Sciences Po's Center for European Studies (CEE). Since 2023, he serves as director of the François Mitterrand Institute, contributing to interdisciplinary research initiatives.
