Nicola Lane is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Lecturer at the University of Oxford, where she leads the Intellectual Disabilities (Learning Disabilities) stream on the Oxford Clinical Psychology Doctoral Course. Her work focuses on addressing social and health inequalities faced by adults with learning disabilities, providing neuropsychological assessments and psychological interventions through approaches like positive behavioral support and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Her professional interests also include supporting the wellbeing of health and social care staff. She coordinates teaching, placements, and research for the learning disabilities stream, actively engaging with stakeholders to enhance training and research initiatives.
