Dr Jennifer Oddy is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at Teesside University's School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law (SSSHL), affiliated with the Institute for Collective Place Leadership. She is also an HCPC-registered chartered Clinical Psychologist and currently serves as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and clinical lead in an all-age neurodevelopmental service.

Her research focuses on neuropsychology, particularly executive functions, attention, and memory, as well as neurodiversity and the psychological well-being of children, young people, and families. She integrates clinical practice with academic teaching and supervision, contributing to the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme as a module leader, academic tutor, and doctoral thesis supervisor.
Her clinical expertise is supported by advanced training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), compassion-focused therapy, and systemic therapeutic approaches.
Dr Oddy has held significant clinical roles within the NHS, including as Principal Clinical Psychologist (2022–2023) and earlier as a Senior and Clinical Psychologist (2014–2022), working across CAMHS, learning disability services, neurodevelopmental pathways, and pediatric neuropsychology.
