Nicola Courtier is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Engineering Science department. She obtained an MMath from Oxford (2014) and a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Southampton, supported by the CDT in New and Sustainable Photovoltaics.

Her research combines mathematical modeling and parameter estimation for energy storage systems. Previously, she investigated perovskite solar cells using asymptotic analysis and numerical modeling. Key research areas include:

- Electrode manufacturing optimization
Scientific honors include:
- EPSRC Doctoral Prize recipient
