Nico Krisch

Dr. Nico Krisch is a Professor of International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. He leads the International Law Department and serves as a faculty associate at the Global Governance Centre and the Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy. His expertise spans global governance, international organizations, human rights, and the postnational legal order. Krisch holds a PhD from the University of Heidelberg and has held positions at institutions such as the Hertie School of Governance and the London School of Economics. He has been awarded prestigious accolades, including the ERC Advanced Grant (2017) and the Max Planck-Cambridge Prize (2019).
