Dr. Nico Florian Klenner is a Lecturer (tenure-track) in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Research School of Management, Australian National University. His research focuses on the intersection of design, innovation, and entrepreneurship, particularly exploring how designers and architects shape future-oriented projects. He holds a PhD from RMIT University (2016–2022).
Research Interests: Dr. Klenner investigates designer-founders' practices, paradoxical role identities, and future-making methodologies. His work bridges design thinking, entrepreneurial strategy, and organizational dynamics, with a focus on architectural and startup contexts. He actively contributes to academic communities like EGOS, AoM, and PDMA, serving as co-chair of PDMA’s Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Competition.
