Stewart Clegg is a Professor in the School of Project Management at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Engineering. Previously Distinguished Professor of Management at UTS, he holds visiting roles at University of Stavanger and Nova School of Business. His research focuses on organization theory, power dynamics, and project management, with notable contributions to paradox theory and megaproject governance. Clegg has received numerous awards including EGOS Honorary Membership and the Edith Penrose Award. He advises on Asian-Pacific digital strategy initiatives and chairs studies on public-private partnerships.

Research Interests: Combining sociological theory with practical project challenges, Clegg explores how power structures shape organizational behavior and project outcomes. Publications: Clegg has authored/edited over 50 books including Frameworks of Power and Project Management: A Value Creation Approach. His recent work addresses AI in management education, PPP frameworks in smart cities, and pandemic crisis improvisation.
