Nick Sherman

Nick Sherman is an instructor at The Cooper Union's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, where he teaches typography, typeface design, and related disciplines. An accomplished typographer and web designer, he runs HEX Projects, co-founded Fonts In Use, and serves as Art Director for the Typographics design festival.

His multidisciplinary work includes:

• Development of digital typography tools (Size Calculator, Font-To-Width)
• Historical typography preservation (Hamilton Wood Type Museum)
• Industry standards development (Adobe Typography Advisory Board)

He holds honors in Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
