Dr. Nick Barker is a University Teacher in Enterprise and Innovation at the Loughborough Business School, Loughborough University. He holds a PhD in entrepreneurship (2019) and an MBA from the University of Nottingham (2007). With a 25-year career in the information technology sector, he transitioned to academia in 2012, initially teaching part-time during his PhD. His expertise spans entrepreneurship, innovation strategies, and change management.
As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Barker teaches across undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education levels, specializing in strategy and leadership development. He contributes to the International Business, Strategy and Innovation research group, focusing on enterprise ecosystems and organizational transformation.
