Nicholas Zambrotta

Nicholas Zambrotta is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He teaches courses in social psychology, sport psychology, and health psychology, and his research focuses on political polarization, motivated reasoning, and social support in health-related behaviors.

• MS in Psychology from Barry University (2013)
• BA in Psychology from Salve Regina University (2008)

His research explores how social media contributes to group and political polarization, psychological factors in peak performance, and alcohol use in college students through bar laboratory studies. He also integrates these themes into his teaching, including courses like PSY 304: Social Psychology for Majors and PSY 333: Psychology in Sport.
