Nicholas S Literski

Nicholas S Literski is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Senior Program Manager at the School of Undergraduate Studies, California Institute of Integral Studies. They hold a PhD in Depth Psychology with Jungian and Archetypal Studies emphasis (2022), an MA in Spiritual Guidance (2015), an MA in Depth Psychology (2018), a JD (1999), and a BS in Sociology (1996).

Research Interests focus on depth psychological reflections on spirituality, Paleolithic cave art analysis through Jungian active imagination, ceremonial magic practices, and the intersection of sexual orientation/gender identity with non-affirming religious backgrounds. They created PaleoSpirituality™, a psychospiritual practice involving numinous imagery.

Teaching includes courses on Learning & Cognition, APA Style, Research Methods, Senior Project, Transpersonal Psychology, Psychology of Image, and Psychedelic Experience transformation.
