Charlene M. Brown is an Adjunct Professor at Widener University, affiliated with the Allied Health, Organizational Development & Leadership, and Professional Studies programs. She holds a PhD in Integral and Transpersonal Psychology (2018) from California Institute of Integral Studies, an MA in Women's Spirituality (2012) from Sofia University (formerly Institute of Transpersonal Psychology), and a BBA in Business Management (2006) from Howard University. Her research focuses on transformative learning, identity complexities of Black women and girls, and integrating mind-body-spirit practices into everyday life. She emphasizes experiential learning, mindfulness in education, and the intersectional experiences of Women and Girls of Color.
