Nicholas K. Dulvy is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Simon Fraser University (SFU). He holds a BSc (Honours) from the University of Birmingham and a PhD from the University of East Anglia. His research focuses on marine biodiversity conservation, shark and ray population dynamics, and the impacts of overfishing. He leads the Marine Biodiversity & Conservation lab, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to address global marine extinction risks.
