Nicholas Gledhill

Nicholas Gledhill is a Lecturer of Music - Horn at Colorado Mesa University (CMU), where he also serves as Middle School Band Director at Holy Family Catholic School. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) from The University of Alabama, a Master of Music (MM) from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music Performance from CMU.

His professional engagements include performances with the Grand Junction Symphony as co-principal horn, the Mesa Winds faculty wind quintet, and the Starkville Symphony. He coordinates summer programs at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and Festival, where he also coaches chamber ensembles. His pedagogical experience includes brass ensemble coaching and horn instruction at UA's Community Music School, and contributions to the award-winning Alabama Horn Studio.

Gledhill’s artistic focus spans orchestral and chamber music performance, with a commitment to expanding performance opportunities through touring and collaborative projects. His career bridges academic teaching, community music education, and professional ensemble participation.
