Nicholas C. Borgogna

Nicholas C. Borgogna is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He holds a B.S. from Utah State University, M.A. from Roosevelt University, and Ph.D. in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from the University of South Alabama, followed by an internship at the College of William and Mary.

His research examines clinical interventions for psychopathology with specialized expertise in addiction, trauma, and compulsivity. Dr. Borgogna's work addresses health disparities affecting sexual and gender minority populations through clinical trials and meta-analyses. He maintains collaborative projects on topics ranging from masculinity's role in mental health to COVID-19 neurocognitive outcomes.
