Dr. Nia Young is a Lecturer in Education and Director of Professional Learning and Community Engagement at Bangor University's School of Education. She specializes in Childhood and Youth Studies, focusing on minority language use, children's self-esteem, and youth participation in decision-making. Her roles include directing teaching initiatives and promoting children's rights through platforms like the Wales Observatory on the Human Rights of the Child and Bangor’s Youth Summits.
