Ni Li is a Lecturer and doctoral candidate in the Department of Water and Climate at the Faculty of Engineering, Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Their research focuses on climate extremes, environmental data analysis, and natural language processing applications in climate science. Ni has presented at international workshops such as the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research (UFZ) and the COMPASS Workshop on Climate Risks. They have also engaged in teaching activities, including a workshop on Shell & Git for big data and modeling. Ni’s interdisciplinary work bridges climate science, text-mining techniques, and music technology, as evidenced by their diverse publication record.
