Nhan Le is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at The Australian National University (ANU), affiliated with the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies & Statistics. Previously, he held roles including Lecturer at ANU (2016–2020) and Assistant Professor at the University of Mannheim, Germany (2012–2020). He earned a PhD in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder (USA), a Master in Finance from the University of Queensland, and a Bachelor in Finance from the University of Economics in Vietnam.
His research focuses on corporate finance, geography economics, behavioral economics, and banking. Key themes include bankruptcy spillover effects, shareholder litigation risks, corporate fraud detection, and the impact of information environments on financial markets. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with empirical analyses of real-world corporate behaviors and regulatory impacts.
Recent articles highlight trends in studying litigation-driven corporate decisions, intra-industry economic spillovers, and the interplay between local information environments and fraudulent activities. Nhan is registered to supervise research students and actively contributes to the academic discourse on corporate governance and financial market dynamics.
